Disneyland Paris - costs

Looking to go to Disneyland Paris for 4 night.

I often see people recommending to stay outside the park because the hotels are cheaper.

Does it really work out less expensive to stay outside Disney park. When you book a hotel in the park it includes park tickets.

I dont see the benefits in staying outside the park. Can anyone shed any light onto this.

Any recommendations gratefully received, Thinking of booking New York hotel

Hi, have stayed in disney twice one time in santa fee and second in new york. The only diference is price and with the cheaper option ie santa fee you had to walk in the open to get to the dinning room. New york is over priced for what you get IMO. Cant speak about booking of site but many do it so it must be an option, why not check the price of tickets from Attraction ticket direct or disney and then chech hotels , Many have shuttles to the parks free It just depends on what you want to pay.

Well I priced it for 3 adults and 1 child for Sequoia Lodge for 4 nights and it would've cost about 2500.
However, 4 nights at Hipark Serris worked out as 1600. I thought it was worth the price difference to stay off-site. We still stayed as late as we wanted, ate at the park Disney Village and either walked or got the bus to the park. It is only 20 mins away. The shopping mall then is only 5 mins away from the hotel so we went there to get supplies.
The only way I would ever stay on Disney-land, is if we someday could afford their 5* hotel. Then I think it would be worth the price difference.

Have stayed both off & on site.

Only advantage to I site is "magic hours" (extra hour in the park for disney guests only) which I think is only during the summer.

Facilities were better in the offsite hotel at a much better price.

Indoor pool, water slides, playground, better food, kids club.

Think not was the explorers hotel we were in .

About an extra five minutes on the same bus as the other disney hotels.

We stayed in new york last time we went, goung again in april and booked chayene. Decided that the 2star would be better because all we did was sleep in the room, we were gone from 9am to 10.30-11 every night. If the kids were older I might stay off site but they are 6 and 9 so its worth it for the characters all over the hotel at breakfast and when you get back at night

For two adults and 2 children it is working out as

    €650 in Sequia Lodge

and that includes park tickets for the full stay (Disney website).

I dont see how booking separate can be cheaper

Hipark Serris Hotel - is €600
Park Tickets for 2 adults and 2 children €600

Am I missing something - why would I not book to stay in the park.
    Thanks for the advice.

well why wouldn't you book to stay at the park if it's the same or cheaper?

We went with the better value for us, for it to work out cheaper at the park we would've had to go, I imagine, for 2 star accommodation or less. Whereas Hipark was a really nice hotel/apartment. We booked one Exec Suite and one regular Suite. We also had one in our group who had very particular dietary needs, so it was easier for her to prepare meals at the hotel, which had a lovely little kitchenette.

Accommodation was around 1000 and tickets were 500.

Whatever you decide to do, make your mind up quickly.

I have just got the january deal of "30 days of" promotion.

Passes for 3 adults and 2 kids were 850, but I got disney davy crockett and passes for 1141. We are discussing it over here.

The current promotions finish 30th January, extra free days and free kids. Have a look. Maybe something relevant to you.

We are travelling to Disneyland Paris in a couple of weeks time.
We are 2 plus 3. Two older kids and a 10 year old.
Where is the cheapest place to buy tickets for 2 days:
    one park each day......

I'm told that if you buy from a french web site, the prices are cheaper

    Any advice really appreciated

I'm not sure about buying tickets, as both times we went we stayed onsite, so had tickets included. But just wanted to say, the parks aren't that big that you would only do one a day unless there are very short opening hours-the first time we went was a bank holiday in Uk, so parks were jammed. We still did all the rides, both parks and had a break by going back to hotel during the day. Not sure if you even get one park tickets for Paris, but could be wrong

Try this. I've bought from fnac before and it's a reliable. The helpline is in French , that's the only concern .

I hope i'm not too late here!

I went to Disneyland Paris 2 weeks ago! We had originally planned to stay outside disney, not in a Disney Hotel. I then discovered that if you book the Disney Hotel (or maybe any of the Disney Hotels, I didn't check) through the french Disney website you save a good bit!

For 3 of us for 2 nights B&B with park tickets for 3 days was €740. The park tickets alone were at least €130 each if we bought them before we went over. We looked it up on different Irish websites and it was at least €1,200! It's a big difference so defo worth checking out!

You people should check out the apartments in and around Disney. They rent fairly cheaply compared to the hotels and are very close to the park. As for tickets the cheapest way to get disney tickets is to buy them from the disney store (paris). They are like 40-60% cheaper than everywhere else. Only thing is the tickets need to be purchased a few days in advance.

Looking to get this for my girlfriend for Christmas. What would be the best way to go about getting it at a reasonable price? Thanks very much.
