    Hi all,
Tried playing a DVD last night but there was no sound. It's fine when watching TV channels. Checked all settings and cables and can't seem to find anything amiss.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
It's an Alba LCD32ADVDS. It's about two and a half years old and no problems until now.
    Thank you.

Sorry forgot to add it's a TV/DVD combi so the leads etc haven't been touched.

Is the sound gone on all your DVDs?

Was the correct audio track on the DVD selected?

I believe its a common fault with some models. I have a Matsui here does it intermittantly. Probably the same electronics in these and many others.

Yeah it does it with all DVDs, probably why you should always stick with the reliable brands!
