    The newly elected Mayor Bill De Blasio was having a private audience with the Israeli lobby which was closed off to reporters and outsiders, but a journalist sneaked in and made a recording before he was kicked out.

    This is it, it appears to be edited in parts so I don't know what to make of it.

    I think you are both right to be honest. The audio has been hacked, but maybe that is just the highlight reel?

    I think it is more damning than quotes in an interview, and nobody ever asks to see a full transcript of an interview. I think Torack is right too, the Mayor should be representing the people who elected him, not the people who funded his election and it is clear from the tape who he is grovelling to.


    Makes democracy a complete sham.

    It's not that I blame him to be honest.
    To get where he is he must do that or someone else will.
    My preference is not to go down any route that would later compromise my ideals or personal values/ethics. Maybe as a young fella he did not consider these things and is now stuck on this path.
    So I don't have any aggro really, he is just grovelling to the power in that state and it is what it is lol
