Are these any good for hair just below the shoulder with lots of layers?
    Any brands you'd recommend please?
I've never tried them but would like to give them a try.

I dont find them comfortable to sleep in at all! I know others sleep ok though. I would think with shorter layers they may not work too well as quite big.

Sleep less rollers! Torture! But great results haha

I got some in Sally, not too sure which brand.

Found them not the worst to sleep in. I put them in and sort of arrange them so there's a bit of my head that lies on the pillow without them haha. Obviously not as good as a normal nights sleep though...

I don't really have layers, so can't say either way how good it would be for them..

I haven't used mine in awhile as my hair is very long (too long) right now but will be getting it chopped after payday so will be back using them. This was my experience of them.

You won't get the best nights sleep of your life but they're not that bad either.

Well, I have used velcro curlers for years, but hatred to sleep in them not only did they hurt my head but did bad things to my neck...

I have them and they are good but not for sleeping in! I bought the dryer hood which I pop on when doing my makeup and the end results are better than if I slept (or tried to sleep!!) in them!

Sleep in rollers me arse :D They're good for putting a bit of bounce in your hair, but if your hair is anything like mine (long, heavy & thick) then your hair most likely will be flat again within a few hours...or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.
