I have a problem with my zetor 8145. the pto is not working, every thing else is working perfect, including the torque amplifier which i believe is on the same pump as the pto, i checked the pressure on the pipe going into the pto, i am not getting any reading and there is oil coming when i pull the leaver down. noting happens when i move the leaver on the floor beside the hand brake. hope you can help me thanks

not sure if its same as 8011 but there is a neutral position in lever on right side on floor is that engaged, my neighbour had an 8111 and it had same problem as 8011 of linkages falling out just under cab at left side, that was from on/off lever by steering, best of luck

i got it sorted, the pressure relief vave was stuck, working perfect now.

looking for a front nose cone for it now, it's seams to be hard to get parts for them now,the Zetor dealer dont do parts for them, the new zetor are made by a different company got one price of 140 euro, seams expensive for what it is

you wont get much for 140 euro now. if you pay someone to straighten out your own it will cost a lot more . I gave a man near me 140 for spraying the bonnet, grille and two side panels. they were straight enough, just paint gone white. . he didn't fill or level anything but did a good job enough spraying it. the ZETOR 8145 stickers each side cost under 20 a side from zetor dealer. transformed tractor for under 200 euro. white cab roof let it down a bit as do the rear wings, thinking of replaceing them instead of repairing them . theres a man in midleton on done deal does a lot of zetor body panels. spoke to him at a show one day but don't know much only he is Czech and goes home every month or two and brings them back with him

is that a valve behind seat that can be pushed down, think i had some trouble with one but i thougth it had something with oil flow return. As ford 5600 said €140 is reasonable as labour costs go. one bit of advice ,clear out all tanks and sumps as sludge seemed to be a torment in mine, can't remember ever spending money on repairs but blockages were a scald, screws have a habit of falling off diesel cap and blocking dsl feed pipe, had to blow back that pipe every flipping week, grease steering sparing at least weekly ,if it has steering unit of 8045 series you dont want repairs there

no this was a vale on top of the gearbox, you have to remove the cover on the floor, its on top of the gearbox,

today i changed the fuel filters and cleaned the tank, i am doing all the work myself, so thank god i don't have labour cost. ya its the same unit as the 8045, and i had problems with it. i removed the steering unit and put a orbitol unit and ram on it, steering is perfect now.
I have it up on youtube if you want to have a look at what i have done so far

saw video good work, will look mighty when finished don't know about mudguards, will let you know if i can, neighbour bought 8111 new no front mudguards.think he got an option though.was the valve a push in/out type connected to pipes sitting on box or built into box in front of seat?
did you fit orbital unit under steering or down at end instead of steering block .

in mf 178, mf 188 Jcb orbital unit used to be fitted under steering wheel and pipes connected to existing unit in front somehow, instead of fitting rams which would be easier

the valve is is a screw type, with 17 mm nut on it, it goes down into box. this tractor was at least 3 year's parked up.
was talking to a lad today he said they didn't come with mudguards to Ireland.
fitted the orbitrol unit at the side of the engine, under the compressor unit, you can see this on the photos, looks neat i think(nice bit of work fitting it):). some people said to me repair the seal in the old steering unit and pipe the orbitrol unit to it, but still would have the problem with the steering lock not good.
I had a ram to suit it so that didn't cost me money and the orbitrol unit was 80 euro of a combine, 60 euro for pipes. This is a low cost project i hope :)

think you made right choice there as most leak at output side any way. you would need casing of a starter to slide out gear anyway, ram is much easier and straightforward and you can use a second ram,it cuts breakage in cross bar, don't over do lock though, seen an 8045 with frequent housing problems as result when using 4wd but yard work may be a contributor. never had reason to get at that valve, its the one behind seat i was at loggerheads with , but the sludge in rear end caused numerous problems, tipping valves etc when dropping trailers until flushing out with drum of diesel repeatedly.best of luck, look forward to seeing finished item when you post it up :)
