Won't start when raining!

hi all, I have a 99 mazda demio. never gave me any problems but lately if its be raining heavy for a couple of days it just wont start, next day if its dry it just starts first turn!...any advice? I tried spraying the plug leads ect with WD40

Hi, I had the same problem with a Honda Hrv. I removed the distributor cap and put a small bead of silicone around the edge to stop the damp from getting in.
