According to the IR website it mentions that a ID can be got from any booking office as long as you bring along a passport sized photo.

Does this mean that it can be got from Greystones/Bray station- I think I read previously you need to go to Connolly?

Also I presume you must bring some other form of ID with you for the verification of the details you provide for the new card?

Im sure there is a fairly simple answer but the website does not elaborate!

It should be got from any main station but check with the station of your choice first. You can get one in Connolly straight away if you want, all you need is 1 passport size photo of yourself. Ask at the info desk for one.

unless of course the desk is closed, as it closes before the last train departs.

I would have thought that would have been on the obvious side. Its open till 10.

it's a piece of card with sticky back plastic, most manned booking offices would have them.

Actually popped into a station this morning (a non city centre station) and the guy said HQ have stopped sending these cards out to them months ago, you can only get them in Tara st, Pearse or Connolly.

But he also said the main reason for the id's are in the case that you have lost your ticket and you want a replacement. He advised that they will happily sell monthly tickets to people without id?
