shower problem

    Hi,
I live in a new bungalow and have two en suites with triton AS2000XT power showers. . In summertime/warm weather, no problem. In cold weather you turn on the shower in the morning and works fine for about 30 seconds then the pump goes into a high pitched sound and the flow reduces to a mininmum. it gradually begins to increase again. There will be no problems in subsequent operations but if the system is at rest over night or for a long period on a cold day the same thing happens. It happens when you turn the temperature dial to cold or hot and is common to both showers. I believe the plummer removed the temperature stop when he intalled the units.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
