    Hello all,

Just a quick question, I may be wrong on this but as far as I know TodayFM's broadcasting licence expires in 2017. I know this seems ages away but it really isn't.
My question is has there been anything mentioned about renewing it? If so, when and how would this be done?

Probably in another year or two, no one is/can compete with them for it anyway, well they can but won't win, the station is secure.

It will be advertised between 12 and 6 months before expiry. There is nothing to be said about it before then.

There were no other applications last time out and if that's the case this time it will be an expedited renewal under the new processes.

And since with anything that involves government, what Dennis wants, Dennis gets, there's probably no point in anyone else applying.

There's no need for that kinda talk really. Today FM has been performing well for a number of years now and they quite rightly deserve to keep the license regardless of who owns them, if someone else wants to apply they should but who is in that position to front up all that money to even mount a challenge?
