Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Twitter monitor

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know if an app exists to monitor a twitter account and send an alert whether it be an email etc. if a tweet is sent? I've looked high and low over the googleverse to no avail.

    Thanks Gerry. I've got Hootesuite but cannot work out how to set it up to alert if a user I'm following tweets. Can you point me in the right direction please? Thanks again

    Not email based, but tweetdeck will pop up a message and give an audio alert if you put a user into a search. I use it to monitor a number of work accounts. Does the job.

    I don't think any tool does this but if you schedule posts using bufferapp.com , then they will let you know that your schedule posts have been sent.

    If you're looking to get a notification once an account you want to monitor sends a tweet you can do this in the settings of the persons account.

    - Go to the persons Twitter account
    - Click on their settings cog
    - Turn on notifications.
