    It's an old Hofner by the looks of the label on the top. Probably from the mid-1950s/early-1960s. There should be a serial number somewhere so you can find its exact model and exact/approximate date.

    Hofner is a German guitar and instruments manufacturer. Their bass ended up being made famous by Paul McCartney.
