    Nope not too old.
Just go and give it a shot, see what you think. If you enjoy it just don't go too mental too fast and you'll be fine.

Forget about age. You'd rather regret the things you have done than the things you haven't.

You're never too old for martial arts! I did Taekwondo for years, my instructor was in his 60's!!! Loads of guys in their 40's and 50's training!

They've both been training since they were kisds, they didn;t just decide to give it a bash in their 30s

True, but they are something to admire & aspire too.

How old is too old? When you have arthritis so bad that you can't stand.... When kneeling down leads to a knee replacement.

Im nearly 37 with 2 cruciate operations and doing BJJ and love it.

    You are 31 :-)

Not only is 31 not TOO old, 31 isn't even old!

Also, if you could stand to lose a few lbs, then that's more reason to go. It's a good work out and yo'll really enjoy it.

FWIW, Ed O'Neill started BJJ at 45 I think. Now he's a black belt.
