Gave a course of hormones to a batch of cows (dairy) over the last 11 days.
They were all scanned as empty and they were not cycling. Some are calved since may. AI Man says that one of them is in calf with 4 months.
What are the conséquences ? Will she abort?

    Greysides any ideas?

What do you reckon JO Farmer?

how long is it since she got the injection. Normally if the injection works the calf would be dropped in a few days.

Got the first jab of Gonadoreline 11 days ago. Then 7 days after she got Dinoprost.
Then last night she got Gonadoreline again.

I can't see how she'd hold after that course of injections. I'm afraid odds are very much against you, but greysides is your best bet for a definitive answer.

Edit: was it the vet who did the scanning. I presume Dinoprost is prostaglandin.
