As above folks. Have this posted in the digger section but there is alot of expertise here too. Is this readily available in Ireland. Need it for Hitachi ex60. Think it's called HN46 or 46HN, not 100‰ sure tbh. Can't get it in the usual places. Have been told the ordinary stuff is ok but have also been told it causes pump trouble with build up of crud etc. Don't want to have to rebuild the pumps as that costs big £££

Here ya go. The 46 refers to the ISO grade of oil, as in 'ISO 46' as it is normally called.

"Mobil DTE Excel 46 - Premium quality, zinc free anti wear hydraulic oil. Unique additive systems gives outstanding thermal, oxidative and hydrolytic stability, even in the presence of water and water based cutting fluids. "

I have never dealt with this company BTW, so ....

Cheers all for replies. I know most use 46 but it's the zinc free side of things that was new to me. Thanks again. Might try that Mobil stuff.
