    Sky are taking the P***

    Received my sky hub on monday just gone activation date said the 23rd of January, expected it to be working some part of yesterday and no joy.

    Called at 7pm told me it can be activated anytime up to midnight!

    Fine, woke up this morning still no broadband rang them said the activation date is the 27th of January.

    why state one date on the box and the other on their system?

    They are depending on Eircom doing the biz at their end, which obviously is not happening yet.

    madness why dont they just buy the lines off them? im going mad will deffo look for half price for a month or two !

    depends where you are, i an get up to 24mbs was connected monday did a speed test last night rang them up seemingly they start everyone off slow and gradually increase it to not "flood" the lines.

    She said they can change it for me there and then so im up and running on full speed :D
