i'm a student on the back to education fund, as part of this your alloud to work part time. i managed to get a job this week but this will be my first time working since 2010.

i'm unsure as to whether i need to give my new employer a p45 as my last p45 is dated 2010.

can anyone give me some advice as i don't want to get taxed loads.

Get your employer reg number off your new employer and call the tax office. They will issue you with a tax cert

Make sure you have given your PPS Number to your new employer to avoid high emergency tax charges

The one where your address is with the tax office if you call one and give your PPS they will advise if it's them or the other office

Go to www.revenue.ie and use the Contact Locater near the bottom right. Key in your PPS here and it'll give you the number to call.
