    Hey,

just wondering the complexity of replacing the water pump on my 98 Avensis 1.8?

I'm pretty useful with my hands and would have a lot of tools, jack, etc.

I cant find any how to guides on line for my car, but seem to have one for the engine 7A-FE.

Also, looking at micksgarage.ie and the like, I see pumps with and without housing...is this just internals replacement and keeping the body?

    Cheers!

Been a while since I did one - most thing I remember is get the pump complete with housing.
I got the pump on its own and had difficulty with some of the housing bolts - just about managed to loosen them and some threads weren't in great condition for going back .
    Otherwise not too difficult .

Cheers, I took a look over the weekend and it's fairly deep down in there, reckon I'd need a lift to get at it properly...
