Got myself a new ferret yesterday. So gonna get back into it.
Is anyone else been out with them and how's it going so far??
Still a lot of cover in the ditches. Need a good cold spell to clear them out. So maybe not great for the nets but probably bit of fun with the shotgun.

Myself and the bro have been out a few times over the last few weeks got a good few rabbits using purse nets we have 4 ferrets in total that all work well,
Theres nothing like bolting rabbits to the shotgun its fast paced and very enjoyable next day out ill be bringing the gun myself,
Best of luck hope you knock a few over

I'm itching to go since I got the new lad. He's a big buck. Real strong body and good set of claws on him. Proven hunter aswell but I was heading out other day and discovered my collar was boll0xed so need new one of them before I head out. But yes I love bashing the bunnies with the guns when ferreting.
Good to see others still doing it but this time of year most are at the pheasants
