Anyone running one of these or have much expierence with them.

The non-turbo 07 model in particular.

Any common faults or things to point out a hard life?

Very good loader. I'll be buying one when I can afford one. Till then I'll stick to the loader and tractor. Used one for 7 months in a place I was working. Serious power on and off road. Heard some where the non turbo ones give trouble but don't have any truth to that. Very good viability out of them anfmd I was able to cut a pit perfectly with it and I was never used to one.

Start at the front and check for play in the pin and come head, expect some as its a 07 but you'll know if its excessive.
Extend boom and lower again some little play ok, but too much and spacers may be worn but sign of no Waxol on boom.
Sit in can and steer I should respond immediately or there is play in steering ram ends.
Put in first gear foot on brake with full revs shouldn't move and engine should be under pressure.
If its got smooth ride check its engaging.
Check for play in centre pivot system.
When driving gear change should be smooth.

Had a look at jcb 300 a few years back
They seemed a bit big and cumbersome for some of the houses I would be using it in.
I ended up going for the smaller but similar type machine a MANITOU MLA 627 and am happy with it and find it a v handy and capable manoeuvrable machine.
Might be worth a look as an alternative.

    Thanks for the info lads,

It's for a friend so I'll pass it all on as my own, and let on to be a right smart lad altogether :D
