Dublin Port Entrance

I drove into Dublin port today at the junction of East Wall Rd and the Port tunnel. Anyone know what sort of bridge they are building there? It is going from the land behind Conway House to the old port entrance (pre-port tunnel)

i noticed that too.
Looks like a foot bridge, or at best for very light vehicles.

I'd wondered too. It looks like this is it. a temporary single lane bridge for that imported car compound! And yes the M50 does officially start there.


Full Development Description

The development will consist/consists of the construction of a new 110m long 6.5m wide single lane temporary bridge with access ramps to link Tolka Quay Road over the M50 to an existing storage site within the Port Estate, which is proposed to be temporarily adapted for the storage of imported cars and vans. As part of the works, new traffic signs will be installed on the bridge structure together with provision of an appropriate drainage system, soft lighting and associated works.
