Waiting time at NDLS Centres on a Sat

    Hi there,

    I was hoping to get the provisional licence sorted on Saturday but I was just wondering how long you are actually queuing/ getting photo taken/ filling out form etc...
    Would I be cutting it very tight if I came in at 10 and gave myself 45/50mins? I have another commitment I just can't be late for!

    Pain in the arse, that you now have to be there in person!

    I went to the centre in Santry a few weeks ago on a Friday. Got there at 9am and already 20 or so people ahead in the queue. My number was called at about 9:45 and took about 15 minutes to get the info logged and photo taken etc.

    Apparently Saturday is by far their busiest day and anyone who arrives after 11am won't be seen before closing time at 2pm, I think?

    Yes you can, if you are going to certain Dublin NDLS centres.

    Unfortunately no, I can't as my closest centre is Nenagh.
    I'm just hoping it won't be quite as busy as the Dublin centres.

    I think I'll give them a ring tomorrow and try and figure out if it's worth my while going down at all.

    brought friend to Limerick office on a saturday at 8.45am recently and was 3rd in the queue. by time they had the office opened up and sorted out for the day, first person was called at 9.15am. finally got out of the office at 10.10am - this was in Limerick.

    So I actually ended up in the Portlaoise centre. I got in at 9.15 and there was only one other guy there, who was being served at the time.
    The whole thing was over by half-past. :D

    The girl at the desk said after 10.30 things would start to get a bit manic.
