Interior Designer - Co Galway

    Hoping to close deal on a house shortly. Newly built, blank canvas job and neither partner or I have any great sense of interior design, colour schemes, lighting, furnishings and fittings etc
    It's a modest 3 bed semi d, and given that it's a blank canvas we are thinking of getting some interior design recommendations. Not that we want anything ostentatious opulent or show house chic, just simple cosy, uncluttered and cheerful , all on a tight budget too ! Too much to ask ??
    Do interior designers take on small projects like ours ? And if so, what sort of spend can we expect for consultation & few design ideas /layouts ?
    Also, if anyone has recommendations for interior designers in the Galway area , we would be glad to hear in this thread or pvt message .
    All comments or thought on the above welcome !

    Mod, I presume your "PM's only" response relates only to advice naming specific Interior Design people, rather than general advice on the feasibility or otherwise of using an interior designer for small/ modest type family homes and general tips on interior design as outlined in my posting ?
