I have to get two dresses this year. I'd prefer if I didn't have to break the bank of Dad to get them. Plus I want something that's good quality and affordable. :)

TK Maxx or Debenhams? If you're looking for good quality though, do you really need to get two? You're unlikely to wear either again...maybe once or twice at most. I wore the same one to my debs and boyfriend's grads.

There's some great charity shops in Cork City, could get something worn only once for a fraction of the cost of a new dress. The Moderne is always worth a look, maybe if you gave an idea of your maximum budget for each dress/in total, and the style of dress you'd prefer, people could point you in the direction of stuff they've already seen.

Just out of curiosity, why would you get two?

How about renting? Verso in douglas rent out event dresses.

You could try online shops? Forever21, Missguided.co.uk or Asos even might have affordable options! You could also try getting a "two piece" dress, for example, buy one long skirt part and two top parts so you don't need an entirely new outfit, but can make it look different - hope that makes sense! A girl I know did it at a recent formal ball and it looked gorgeous!

I went to two debs my year and I just got one full length dress from TK maxx. I wore it full length to the first debs and then got it taken up for the second debs. Although the style of dress was probably different to what's in now.
Or you could try getting one of the dresses that you can wrap into lots of different styles. It would probably be one of those dresses you'd always have.

I was just wondering does anyone know what dates the debs are on in Cork city and surrounding areas this year? or how I would find out?

As she has two debs to go to and its considered socially unacceptable to wear the sane dress to both. I'm assuming her own debs and her dates debs.

If you go to asos and filter the search for maxi dresses they have a varity of gorgeous dresses that could be worn to the debs. I especially love the watercolour maxi or the floral ones, I tried providing a link but phone won't let me.
