    Hi all,
Im in first year of Analytical Science in DCU. On my timetable for semester 2 I have two seminars in interdisciplinary science. Can anyone explain what this is, is it compulsory like labs, is it exam or CA based etc?
    Thanks :)

It's not a nice module at all..I don't think many enjoyed it.. I certainly didn't!

You're in a group of 4 for the semester and you are given little projects to do.. like make a poster on a subject of your choice (science related obviously!), you can be given case studies and you have to answer questions on it (Wordy and Calculation questions) there's debates.. theres other stuff aswell..I don't really remember much.. its been 2 years..and the content may have changed a little, depending on student reviews..

There was two in class tests...

I think the two seminars are for the lecturer to talk to you about the module while you's are all there and then pick your groups or you are assigned your groups... Then everyone is split into different rooms because everyone working in T101 would not work!!

    Hope this helps!
