    Hi,

I've a satellite setup here in Germany with one of the LNBs pointing at Astra 28.2. I've a Humax receiver that can take 2 CAMs for decrypting subscription channels. What CAM would be compatible with Setanta Sports if I wanted to take out a sub? Something like this but for Setanta Ireland.

I think your only option is a second hand Sky UK box. Subscribe to just Setanta and they'll send you a card and pair it to the box. Although they won't like the fact that you're in Germany.

Ok, so maybe not the only option, but probably the easiest & cheapest? The card will need to be paired to a box in the first place anyway, so why add another layer of complexity?

Basically there is no official CAM available for Setanta, Sky receiver and card is the only official route.

There is no legal CAM available for VideoGuard and a Setanta Sports (Ireland) subscription can only be legally obtained in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

I'm closing this thread because there's too much of the usual opportunity for people to start discussing illegal ways as one person has already tried to do
