she got beat handily by jeptoo in the great north run

there was talk that defar and dibaba might challenge PR's world record when the moved up to the marathon

will it be a repeat or has dibaba stepped up her mileage

i seriously doubt any of them will challenge for the marathon record anytime

Nothing wrong with the way Jeptoo runs newby once it's effective. ;)

I vote newbygirl to be in the spotlight next week! :D

Someone's suffering from a severe bout of schizophrenia here by the look of things!!!

Anyway, back to the Dibiba question. There's probably only one or two other runners in the world at this moment in time that can take it to Jeptoo, and judging on the GNR, Dibiba ain't one of them. Jeptoo's surge in the middle of that race was one of the most impressive things I've seen in Athletics in a long time, if she's holding that sort of form, she'll be quids in.

"Nobody puts Dibaba in di corner"?
