    Hi,

iv an old 4WD SAME Panther 90, and once it does some hard work, it burns every bit of oil in the Power Steering pump . . . Sizzles it until its completely gone and the power steering stops!!!!

    No leaks or anything.

Its ok if your only tipping around.

    Any ideas?

    Jo

Is it like the fords by any chance leaking into the engine?

Would there be a seal or a gasket away that might not allow oil through when cold yet when less viscous at higher temperatures like when gettin her tight it may go through, possibly,

Hi The oil is not burning away it is going somewhere, unless the oil goes on fire it will not all "burn /evaporate" there will always be a residue of heavy thick sludge left behind.

Most likely its a seal gone or more like on the way out , as oil heats up it becomes more fluid thus allowing to pass more freely. It couldnt burn off but leeking:(

Hi, the same often happens with my Ford 6610 when it's parked up. The oil in the power steering drops and does not seem to be leaking externally. Can it leak into the engine or is it completely separate.

My bet is there's a leak at the pump and its going into engine. How's the backend? U dipping engine and backend regularly?
