Nice looking laptop as pc setup

I have a couple of laptops for home use.
For ergonomic reasons I use them with a monitor, keyboard and mouse but it doesn't look great.

Has anyone a nice looking and ergonomic solution for this kind of setup?

I'm thinking of getting wireless keyboard and a nice sharp monitor that doesn't look like an office monitor, white maybe or something like that, any suggestions?

of course I don't want to spend a fortune.

As an aside I've been thinking of getting a pad/laptop hybrid to replace one of the laptops but I don't think the price is right yet.
