Leixlip - Sandyford Commute Time

    Hi All,

I'm thinking about moving to Leixlip. At the moment I work in Sandyford/Leopardstown.

Does anyone currently travel (drive) this commute and if so, what sort of travel time can be expected?

I'm assuming 45 minutes could be the best expected each way? I'm hoping not much worse than that?

I've never commuted on the M50 and have always had the option of public transport/cycling so 30km is a hard call!

    Thanks,

    Eglinton

I travel Maynooth to Cherrywood a couple of days per month usually leave Maynooth at 7.30 and make Cherrywood at 8.20 on the way back leave at 5.30 and home home 6.35. It can vary as much as +-10 minutes though and that's with out accidents bad weather etc.
