It appears to be replaced with a music format.

    He's on holidays isn't he.

Is this based on something you've heard or just observation from today? As Damien Farrelly is in at the moment covering an apparent holiday.

It's unusual for a whole format to get pulled for a couple of weeks when the host is on holidays.

He's probably the closest thing they've got to replacing "you know who", so he's probably not going but I find him to be an insufferable git & wouldn't mind him being replaced.

Makes you realise what a dominant force "you know who" was

He his on holiday but when a talk presenter takes a holiday the talk format remains.

Only if you've someone to replace them with. Shuffling a presenter from another show and using a producer/standin to cover them suggests cost-saving.

Damien 'it's nearly Friday' Farrelly is covering for a couple of weeks.

The story goes that Colm Hayes will be taking over Drive when he returns from holidays.

Who will be on at 11am so ?

Don't know. Damien Farrelly has said he won't be going back to early breakfast. I think 11am will now be a music shift, so it's quite possible he'll stay there.

So now Matt Cooper will be the only listenable drive-time show for me. :(

Why the hell would anyone put the insufferable cant string a sentence together Hayes on drive over Leahy?

On the basis that there is no official notice that Colm Hayes is going to drive time, I'm closing the thread.
