I have some tarnished antique silver tea services and bowls, would like to be able to polish them. Where can I buy good quality and quantity silver polish cream in Dublin? Thanks. Jen

Silvo..it should be available from all supermarkets.

OR if you want to be more adventurous you can make your own.

Thank you very much. That is really great tip to get it in the supermarket.

I've got a piece of London 1891 silver bread basket and it has no sign of tarnish at all. I wonder would it be better that there is some sign of history/age, at least in the places that a surface polish with clothes will not reach. It probably was dipped or washed by the previous owners.

    Regards,

    Jen

Wash the silver in warm water and washing up liquid, and if you have to use a non-abrasive cleaner.I find Peek works very well on small silver items or a product called Amway is vert good.
