    im looking to change my 3 midband to a broadband provider so the young lad can play his xbox online any idea which is the best provider in monasterevin
    i was thinking of going with sky or vodafone? but i live about 4 km from the exchange.

    Vodafone is €35 for unlimited without phone.

    I'm not with vodafone, but as its coming down a phone line of no standard length, speeds vary massively depending on location.
    You might find that sky charge a €10pm charge if you're on an exchange that doesn't have their equipment. If you're on the monasterevin exchange I'd say you'd be ok though.
    Either company should be able to give you a rough idea on expected speeds.
    You could ask your neighbours what they have and how they find it too.

    iam with 3 midband and at the best i get 0.73 download
    the problem i have is there is no phone line connected to the house but vodafone say they will do that free of charge
