Has anybody heard much about this course ? At the open day they were saying that it may not be on cao and I really want to get this course :) If it's direct entry it wouldn't be too bad as there might not be much interest in it which means the points won't be as high as in UCD but the level 7 is 410 already :/ To be honest I'm just wondering if anybody has heard anything about when it will be open to apply :) Thanks in advance!

in in the level 8 Ag. And last i head it would be a year or two before its brought in. Would you not go for the level 7 anyways. Then see can you transfer to the level 8 Ag sc course when it comes or in 3 year transfer to ucd to finish your degree to level 8. Alot of lads do this. Feel free to ask questions

I was hoping to go straight into it as you get the work placement in the third year in the level 8. They said that it will be open this year but they are just unsure if it will be on the CAO. I would definitely think about the transfer to UCD though

send an email to Micheal green. He is the course leader for ag sc. He might be able to tell you if it is going to be on the Cao. You will find his contact details on the wit website in the contacts. Or tony woodcock the course leader for agriculture . He might know either. Twoodcock@wit.ie

Hi folks, I can confirm that WIT is offering the level 8 BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Science, course code WD191. You must apply for it through the CAO - it's up on the CAO site now. You'll find all the information you need on www.wit.ie/wd191. FYI, the course leader is Michael Breen - his details are on the course webpage but it's mbreen@wit.ie
