Any fans on the PSU spinning??

Have you securely connected the 24 Pin aswel as the 8 Pin to the motherboard?

    No and yes
Didn't plug in the 8 pin at first, thought to myself, "Great, it'll work now!"....
    Of course, it still didn't

Is there lights on the motherboard when you turn it on.

Have you made sure that the cables from the case are all in the right places on the board.

Made that mistake on the first build had the cables in wrong way as they were all one pin connections.

So check motherboard manuals for correct positioning for power and rest buttons.
