Thursday Night Gaming in Gamer's World, Dublin.

    Hi guys, just a quick note to let you know what's going on in Gamer's World in Dublin on Thursdays that's not MtG.

    The Bolt Action league started last week, but there is no problem if anybody wants to jump in at any stage along the way. If you have a fully painted, based and WYSIWYG force you are already a step ahead as there are points for all 3 criteria as well as the gaming points.

    The Necromunda campaign already looks like it's going to be popular. The more the merrier. If you don't have a gang some spares may be available on the night, and counts as models from other systems will do just fine.

    The Star Trek night is just a tester for newcomers. I've only played one game myself, at Gaelcon, but it seemed pretty good. There may be a few goodies floating around that night as well.

    The Flames of War league should have a fairly large take up, with newcomers to the system more than welcome. Again, if you don't have an army, with a bit of advanced notice one of the number of spare armies that most of us have could possibly be made available.

    For the open gaming nights, we're open to anything. The systems we play mostly are Bolt Action, Flames of War and Saga. Many of us have 40k and WFB armies that might be dusted off as well. There are a number of avid board gamers as well who are always looking to play something new, so don't be afraid to suggest something you might wish to play, someone is bound to give it a go. We are also currently toying with jumping into Infinity, so if anybody out there plays it and is looking for a captive audience, don't be afraid to speak up. Keep in mind that while there are certain events going on on certain Thursdays, that does not preclude the playing of something else. Not everyone is taking part in the listed events and might be at a loose end on those nights.
