    Hi,

Just wondering has anyone skied Klien Matterhorn, if so how was it ?

We are in zermatt at the moment and have been on the Sonnegga blue runs for last 3 days, and wonder how they compare to the klien blue run?

Also any comment on the Blues at the top of Gornergrat ?

We are both beginners, and have been only been skiing for 3 days..

Blues in Zermatt are all similar no surprises, can't remember the lift situation at the top but you won't ski down from there.

Well worth going up just for the view & experience

Thanks for that, going to give it a go as there is good weather forecast for tomorrow... I'll post a few pics when we get back.

It's one of the most spectacular cable car trips in the world. You'll be about a mile above the glacier towards the top. Make sure you are at a window and not crammed in the middle :)

Three days experience isn't really enough to tackle the first stretch from the top - it's a long ski down and you'll be cursing if it's too much for you. But take a look from the top and make you own decision.

Bear in mind that if it's windy, the cable car won't run, or you may have to ski down if it stops after you get up there!

Wrap up well - it can be extremely cold up there.

There is a chocolate shop in the village on a corner near mc Donald's you will know you are in the right place when you open the door and smell it!!

Also the grave yard in the town is amazing I know it sounds dark but all the climbers are buried with their gear on their graves

Oh and enjoy the Matterhorn it is amazing I never tire if seeing it! Skied the full run from too of Klein to the village one day last lift up had the run to ourself until the last km or so and I skied the first half looking left at that glorious lump of rock
