Chronically sound like I have a cold (looking for others)

    hello,

I'm in my early 30s, perfectly healthy, and I chronically sound like I have a cold or heavily congested. To be accurate, I sound a bit more congested than people who have colds. Some people sound nasally I know, but I don't sound like that, I sound like an extreme version of that. I've met three or four people who sound like this, and seen people ask on the Internet about this problem, but they receive no definite answer.

I've been to several doctors about this, they're not sure what it is and each had a separate theory, I'm booked in to have a camera go around my nose and throat, but I'm not confident they'll find out what it is, and even less confident there is any treatment for it.

I'm not looking for advice to deal with this, I'm just looking for anyone who has this, or know anyone has this and who have explored ways to fix it.

Sorry OP. I know you say you are not looking for medical advice but for others who might have something similar but there's the nub - without a diagnosis there is no way of knowing.

Unfortunately have no option but to close this thread.
