Depends on what you want to use it for. Care to elaborate?

Not to mention the huge price difference between the two models.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with a 10.1-inch TFT capacitive touch screen, rendering 1,280 x 800-pixel resolution. The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with a 10.1-inch Super clear LCD capacitive touch screen, rendering 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution.

The Tab 3 10.1 comes with a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and Intel Atom Z2560 chipset. It comes in 16 and 32 GB internal memory variants, which can be expanded by up to 64 GB using a Micro SD card.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. It comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal memory variants, which can be expanded by up to 64GB using a Micro SD card.

Both the devices run on an Android operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 comes with 1 GB of RAM, whereas the Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with a big 3 GB of RAM.

The Tab 3 10.1 is equipped with a modest 3.15 MP primary camera and the secondary camera on the device is 1.3 MP. The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with an 8 MP primary camera and the secondary camera on the device is 2 MP.

I wonder does he mean the old note 10.1, the price is definitely more competitive then (in the notes favour)
