As per the thread title, may be travelling to Poland and Ukraine - no more than a week in each. Can anyone advise what pay as you go mobile sim I should pick up that will allow internet access for 1 week?

Would ONLY be used for mobile internet - no calls.

I was in Warsaw in December 2012, I used a company called "Play", they had good coverage in Warsaw on 3G on the iPhone 4. They had a store in the Golden Terraces Shopping Mall next to Warszawa Centralna main train station.

I think I paid something around 30zloty - €7 which gave me the Sim-Card and 30PLN Credit, the guy in the shop spoke English and he set up the simcard in my iPhone and configured it. Worked fine for me anyway.

I have never been to the Ukraine so can't comment. It is possible you might be able to roam on the Polish sim card while in the Ukraine or else you might need to get another new Ukrainian sim when you get there.

Perfect. Thanks for that stinicker. Will be flying into krakow but will try and see if I can get a play sim there.

Anyone any ideas on ukraine? I'd love to think that there is one that will cover both but i doubt it - data and roaming dont seem to be something that has been embraced (probably take a few years to sort out but no doubt it will come).
