    Hey

I ran my first 5 kilometer race recently and I am told in an exceptional time for a newcomer. I have been playing two sports at a high level for the last four years so am in very good shape but am wondering if there is any point in taking running up more seriously. Tks

    Join a club.
    See if you enjoy it.
Until you start winning/placing in races, focus on your own improvement rather than worrying about what time is 'good'
