Myself and my fiancé have just bought a house in Bray, we're getting the keys in 6 weeks.

We'll be living on the Killarney Road, and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if there's a gym with a pool nearby?

I know nothing about Bray and it will be all foreign to me!

There's one at the north end of the town (Raven I think it's called).

There one in the Royal Hotel, at the bottom of the main street.

There is also one on the southern cross at the south end of Bray.

Killarney Road is a long road, so don't know which is closer to you.

    Shoreline

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Thanks guys :) I'll look into that now. We're moving to Elgin Heights! Just opposite the Bray school project.

Shoreline is about a 10 minute walk. Maybe less.

    Definitely go to the Shoreline.

Just curious, and don't think this the wrong way, but why would you buy a house and not check out the area or even google "swimming pool bray"?

I could have done that. but figured its best to ask people who know the area and know the good/not so good places. If there were no gyms or pools around it wouldnt be the end of the world, everything we need is nearby and the pool would just be a plus :)
