What on earth is a 'playthrough bonus'?

I should have known better than to start using my Ladbrokes account again. I can't remember why I stopped, but I do remember that it was because they really made me I'm angry again.

Long story short, I put money in and strayed into the Casino section, where I got my total up to €136 on three-card poker. I should have known something was fishy when I hit two straight flushes - the best hand - in less than five minutes.

Anyways, now I can't withdraw because of something something 'playthrough'. They gave me €15 bonus or something, now I can't take it out.

What do I have to do? Lose all the money before I can withdraw? I'm not phoning or emailing them they'll give me some by-the-book bull**** which I wouldn't understand. I need a gambler to put it in layman's terms.

Basically if you accept a bonus from a casino (and it's not just Ladbrokes, it's all Casinos), you'll have to play through the bonus amount a number of times which varies from casino to casino but it can be up to 60 times the bonus!
So if you accept a bonus of €15, you have to play through 60 times, that would mean you'd have to stake €900 (15 x 60) before you can withdraw it.
There is also a limited time to do this, most casinos are a week!

    It's gone.

It didn't feel like money because I knew I'd never see a penny of it due to that playthrough bollox so I p*ssed it away.

That's what most people do as it's so hard to stay ahead after playing it through.
That's why the casinos make it so hard.

The original bonus needs to be played through an x amount of times but the winning from said bonus can be withdrawn - well it has done for me in the past anyways.

yep that laddiebrokes site made me sick in the mouth recently, it has various ux bugs/issues ranging from 1. popup account window (modal box needed) 2. too much height on betslip for accums e.g.1200px 3. no clock on live event on homepage (wft!).

Give me powers or boyles anyday - for a quicker way to stack a e/w (x7)accum.

As a general rule don't try to beat the komputer (that's a nono to casino's 'rng' etc)...
