fridge not workig

hi my fridge stopped working , no a meek out of it , no light even when door open . i checked fuse at plug , ok , i checked voltage at terminal block in back of fridge , 240v . the freezer isnt working either . any idea's ? thanks figs

I unplugged it and tested the three prongs for resistance and a short to earth on the compressor . they passed both tests , when I reassembled the electrics , it worked away .....................
