I think that you might have more luck on the primary and preschool forum.

Fledglings Whitehall is a fantastic purpose built facility, the staff are great - my little one goes there and loves it! Its in the grounds of Whitehall College (next to the old Garda Station) we live near Griffith Ave so its perfect for us when dropping off then hop on the bus into town. Its also very reasonably priced as its a community based so there is no interest in making a profit but instead any money made goes back into the place. Couldn't rate it highly enough. I know there are also some others along the main road into town but we just love it there :-)

    Hi,

My daughter goes to Little Learners Montesorri on Hollybank Road in Drumcondra. We find it brilliant. The teachers are all brilliant and my daughter loves the place. They do all the usual Montessori things and also great extras like yoga, dancing and gardening (all free!)

They are really flexible with drop off and pick up times. You can drop off your child from 8.30 onwards and they can play with toys etc until class begins at 9. They also run an after school club until 6 which many of the preschoolers also attend. This costs €6 per hour extra. I find this really handy as I work quite flexible hours so it's great to be able to pay for an extra hour of childcare here or there when I need it. You can also pay extra for childcare during the school holidays which is great if you need to work.

The school is really popular so they are opening a second site on Drumcondra Road soon, just next to the train station. They have a website (see below) which is quite good so you should have a look.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. We moved away from Drumcondra a few months ago but my daughter is so happy at Little Learners that we decided to keep her there and drive her there each morning.

    Hope this helps :)
