    Hi,

I have a Sky + Hd and I am have problems with the sound. The problem is as far as i am aware on all channels although we only watch a few channels. I need to have the sound turned up quite high to make out what they are saying but if it is at a lower level there is an interference in the background. it is a muffled type noise.

I have checked the F connector at the LNB and at the back of the box and they seem ok. Any tips would be great.

    Thanks

Check all cables are connected thoroughly and reboot the box to rule out any software issues.

When you say you have the volume turned up do you mean on the tv or the sky box. If TV make sure the volume is also turned up on the sky box. If the box is at a low level and you are using a SCART cable it is possible to get some interference/hums from poor quality cables.
That said, I have heard several people complaining of low sound levels on some sky movies in recent weeks, so it may also by a sky issue.
