    Hi Folks,

Been living in a large apartment complex the last three years so i've had the comfort of just dropping bins down to the basement.

Recently moved to Portmarnock (coast road) and need to get bins collected.
Wont need a collection every week. Every two weeks at most and will be doing recycling too.

Looking for the cheapest option obviously and ideally not a lump sun for the year up front.

any recommendations of companies to use ? or do the council collect bins ?

as you have probably figured, i havent a notion :P

Panda.ie service the area. There is a €110 annual fee with includes collection of brown and green bins every second week. Black bin collection is done based on tags. Basically buy a tag for the bin and put it out whenever full. We use our recycle bins fairy well and only need to put out a black bin every 4 weeks or so. Decent enough service IMO. Have seen other use greenstar in the area too

Black bins are €9.50 for a large (regular) wheelie bin or €4.65 for the half bin. We have the smaller bin.
