Combi box for Saorview / UK Sat and French TNT

    Hi there,

    Sorry for the noob questions , but I'm slightly confused ...

    I've ditched Sky and am looking for a combi box to pick up the Irish digital terrestrial TV, Standard & HD free UK satellite channels and , if possible, French TNT [ with the correct card ]

    I'm considering the Ariva 252 , connected to my exisiting Sky dish and TV aerial.

    Would this do the job ?
    If not, any recommended boxes ?

    to do this you need a tntsat official decoder as a base. you say you have a sky dish that will suffice to get the uk channels on astra 28 you will then need to get the french channels astra 19.2. so you have a choice of erecting a new 60cm dish for astra 19.2 or take down your exiting sky dish and get an 80cm dish and combine the astra 28. and 19 on the same dish with two lnbs.

    a disecq switch to combine the two sat feeds

    to get saorview, a saorview tv would be the easiest if not a saorview box so hdmi 1 would be saorview and hdmi 2 would be sat box.

    This is my set up. i got a basic tnt sat box in france carrefour in 2012 for €149 works away grand
