I have 2 children, the oldest turned 16 in December. CB department had written ti me advising I would receive a form for the school to fill in before his 16th birthday. Form never arrived so I went to my local S.W office and got a form, got the school to fill it in and sent it back. I didn't get paid for him in January but presumed I would receive the backdated payment in February.

I've now received a letter from the C.B department saying my payment has been extended and payments will be as follows:

    Jan - €130
    Feb - €260
Mar - €260 and so on.

Should Feb payment not be €390 ?

I have tried ringing but was on hold and needed to get back to work.

    Thanks in advance.

you got paid for the younger child in January €130.
they owe you for the older child in January €130.
So amount owed to you is €130.

Thats what I thought so presumed Februarys payment would be €390. €260 as normal and the €130 owed but the letter just says Februarys payment will be €260.
