    Hi :)

You'd be best asking this over in the motors section of motoring, but from a tiny bit of experience it could be a wire under the seat that's after being cut or disconnected, so check there first, might need to be soldered back together after that you'd be best off bringing it to a mechanic to get it looked at

Thanks . that's where I thought I had posted it,anyway I've seen very logical replies in this section . Had that problem in a 05 Avensis and it's an underseat wire connection that needs squeezing problem in those, but something is telling me it's a relay in dash problem in Skoda, such as corrosion, just a question of locating it.:)

Yeah it was the same in a corsa a friend of mine owned, no harm in checking! as for the corrosion could it be a fuse or relay perhaps? electrics and so on wouldn't be my area I'm afraid :o

    Posted issue in Motors forum

    Thanks anyway,
I won't go at it until Tuesday anyway so maybe some thing will come up. it failed to start a couple of weeks back after doing 50 miles an hour previously, and hasn't failed to start since since so my guess electrical issues are a vw related thing as a friend of mine got shut of a 04 a while back due to similar behind Dash electrical issues.

Have a Passat that shows a warning light now and then. After watching a few videos on You Tube, (mercedessource) have bought a code reader. Cheepo one, just 15 sterling, so look forward to trying it out . could be worth a try.

Thanks for that,I would be a little wary of turning off an airbag warning light though without making sure that airbags are ok first,#a faulty bag could blow up in in your face unexpectly and insurance cover could be void as result if a vehicle electrics check showed up a warning light was switched off , I have been told those checks show up a lot of stuff including power surges where jump starting has occured .in my case its the connections at the safety belt is the problem ,Im waiting to get it sorted
