Belkin Wireless N Adapter Connection Issue

Folks, I am using an O2 hotshot router at home while I wait on new broadband to be connected. Folks,

I am using an O2 hotshot router at home while I wait on new broadband to be connected. On my pc I have a Belkin Wireless N Adapter (F5D8053 V6) which when I try to connect to the O2 hotshot keeps saying it is unsuccessful.

All the other devices in the house can connect to the O2 hotshot without any issue. I have changed the WIFI password on the hotshot, powered it on and off but still no difference. Anyone have any other suggestions to try?
